Democrats to Hold State Convention May 14-16th in Casper

The Wyoming Democratic Party will hold its biennial convention in Casper, May 14-16 at the Parkway Plaza Hotel. A copy of the schedule is below. Please let me know if you are planning to attend so I can ensure there are enough press packets for all.

Friday, May 14:

9 a.m. to Noon: Platform Committee meets
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Candidate, activist and party leader training 
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: State Democratic Central Committee meets 
3 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Registration/Check-in
5 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.: Credentials Committee meets
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Welcome reception at the Parkway Plaza "Old Town" facility
8 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Wyoming Stonewall Democrats (GLBT Caucus) meeting

Saturday, May 15:

7:30 to 9 a.m.: Registration/Check-in
9 a.m.: Democratic State Convention begins
Noon: Luncheon - Cost: $20 a plate. Speaker: Oregon State Rep. Jefferson Smith
1:30 p.m.: Democratic State Convention resumes
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.: VIP Cocktail Reception, Gourmet Room - Cost: $100 a person
6 p.m. to 7 p.m.: No-host cocktails, South Lounge
7 p.m.: Dinner Banquet - Cost $75 a plate. Speaker: Raymond Buckley, president of the Association of State Democratic Chairs (New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman)

Sunday, May 16:

9 a.m. to noon: Clean up of Nancy English Park (off of CY Avenue) in collaboration with Keep Casper Beautiful.
